Allow creation of colour sets.
This may seem trivial but we use a larger number of card types than there are colour sets available. With SpecLog being such a visual system, it would be nice to have the freedom to colour at will.

Allow linking and display of pictures (*.jpg, etc) from TFS repository similar to Gherkins
When building a Feature tree of living documentation, beside the Gherkins the UI mockups should be also merged to reflect the current status of the system. It would be great to manage them together the same way and at the same place. Pictures could be stored in the TFS directory/sub-directory where Gherkin files are stored. When linking a Picture to a User Story, the picture is displayed within SpecLog (same as when attaching). History of UI mockups is also maintained this way and large pictures do not overstress the SpecLog database.

add TFS area parameter to TFS synchronization plugin configuration
Imagine a TFS project with multiple TFS teams (development of a product line with a shared code base - see ALM Rangers). Each team has a separate area with a team product backlog (separate SpecLog repository), so it would be great to be able to configure the area where work items should be synced to.

Provide translation
It would be nice if you could provide traslations for card templates and exported requirements (especially for HTML version)

when the user copies a user story, the ID is automatically incremented
Between 2 projects, a part of the user stories are similar.
Thefore we define as template series of user stories, to copy them when building the story map. We just have to adapt them to the customer needs. The issue is that the ID of the copied user story is exactly the same than the original one.
We would gain time if the ID is automatically incremented, like when a new user story is created in the normal way.20 votes -
Visualize DONE progress in Story Map
To be able to communicate progress and re-negotiate scope using story maps, it may help to convey DONE state of items visually. E.g. by placing a small green traffic light on the card. To avoid excessive tagging we recommend mapping to your ALM state 'Done' which would be quite generic if you provide a simple mapping table per item type. This feature might be coupled with sister request on reporting test stability, but not necessarily mixed into same indication.

Add a field Stack Rank to the user stories.
The export to html enables to sort user stories by stack rank.
Stack rank is synchronized to TFS.
It will help a lot for planning, providing to customer the backlog in html ranked by stack rank.
Optional: automatic sorting of user stories by stack rank: I select user stories, click X: all user stories piles up according to their stack rank.p.s.: I know that Speclog is not designed for planning but this stack rank is the only missing feature that enabling me to do all my work in Speclog.

Align Functions for cards on story maps
Add some align functions (align top, bottom, left, right, center vert., center horiz., distribute vert. horz.) to the menu bar in SpecLog so that cards can be aligned in more easy way.

Add standard scrum/kanban tracking abilities
Great requirements tool, but if you could add a couple "simple" features, it could also be a great tracking tool too:
For example:
- velocity over a period of time (requires status on stories)
- user assigned (with gravatar displayed on a workspace)
- ability to draw simple lines and add text on a workspace (kanban board)
- burn ups/downs6 votes -
Indicate a criterion has an attachment when collapsed
Currently there is no telling if a criterion has an attachment unless it is expanded. It would be efficient to be able to spot attachments without having to expand all of them.

Allow tagging of criterion or parse out type of criterion
When adding criterion it would be more efficient to be able to tag them as Scenario:, Background:, Scenario Outline:, or when added manually the parser will parse the tag.
Currently if you manually add 'Scenario:' it will generate a scenario as "Scenario: Scenario: This is a scenario." Worse yet if a criterion is being used as background it will parse into "Scenario: Background: these are background steps."

Split screen/Multiple windows
Be able to view two separate tabs, either in split screen or in separate windows without having to open a separate instance of SpecLog.

Toggle Grid lines
Now that SpecLog snaps cards to a grid, it would be nice to be able to toggle the grid to display lines for easier alignment and organization of the cards.

Use all the screen estate on a widescreen monitor
When I use speclog on a widescreen monitor it is not utilising all the space. In conjunction with another piece of feedback I gave on table formatting, this would greatly improve the usability of the tool.

Allow tear-off tabs to better use multiple monitors
At the moment speclog's tabs are restricted to being held within the main parent window. A number of windows applications support tearing off tabs so that we can make use of multiple windows more effectively.

Improve display of wide tables in speclog
We have some wide tables in specflow with wide column names this results in the tables becoming unreadable as the columns present items vertically. Ideally, we would like the ability to scroll across the table and not have the table width restricted.

Allow tagging of user story as story or task for TFS integration
When we refine user stories they end up being mapped to stories and tasks. We would like the flexibility to create refinements as stories sometimes.
